Welcome in Jesus' name!

Please find Our Week in God's Word study under the sermon tab above. There are sermons and the bible study for you to download.

We encourage and welcome our members, friends, and guests to join us for worship. Church is a gathering of people in the same place who praise and worship the God who saves sinners. Church is not a place where "perfect" people go - there are none! Rather, church is a gathering of imperfect people desperately in need of God's forgiveness, mercy, and grace.

At-Home Worship and Sermon documents can be found by clicking the "Sermons" picture button above, then selecting the current year and category "Sermons."

If you used our online worship materials today, please fill out our Friendship Register (link below). Thanks!

God's Word for This Week

Easter 7, May 17th, 2026

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?
HE LIVES TO GIVE ME
EAGER EXPECTATION OF GLORY
Acts 1:12-26 – Matthias is chosen to join the apostles whose testimony about Christ’s resurrection gives the Church the expectation of future glory.
1 Peter 4:12-17, 5:6-11 – The God of all grace has called us to future glory. Until that time, he encourages us to bring all our anxiety to him.
John 17:1-11a – Jesus says that his suffering will lead to glory, both his and ours.

Pentecost, May 24th, 2026

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?
HE LIVES TO POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT
Acts 2:1-21 – On Pentecost the disciples proclaimed the gospel. Through their words the Holy Spirit unleashes his saving power.
1 Corinthians 12:3-11 – When God pours out his Spirit, it is for the benefit of the entire Church.
John 7:37-39 – Jesus promised that those who were spiritually thirsty would be filled with the living water of the Spirit.

If you would like to study these readings and learn more about them before Sunday Worship, please attend our Thursday (8:30am) Bible Class at Familiar Grounds Coffee Shop in New London. All are welcome!

We pray that you will be strengthened in faith, guided in life, and comforted in any situation as you spend time this week with our Triune God and his holy Word!
